Project Management:

  • Balanced/Managed timelines and expectations from sponsor company with the capabilities of team

  • Managed all communication with sponsors and coordinated weekly meetings with sponsors and advisors

  • Created Design of Experiments matrix to plan testing parameters of blade configurations

  • Performed regular check-ins with team members and delivered a weekly summary of work to sponsor

Part Design:

  • Utilized SOLIDWORKS to create turbine designs that iterate through each parameter

  • Created models based on each turbine iteration that were uploaded to Siemens Star CCM+ to perform CFD analysis

Dog Wheelchair (Spring 2024)

CAD Lead

Part Design/Manufacturing:

  • Designed folding mechanism with aluminum stock, thrust bearings, frictionless spacers, dowel pins, shoulder bolts, and locknuts

  • Analyzed the strength of the folding mechanism through FEA with SOLIDWORKS

  • Fixed any CAD errors with other parts and the full assembly

  • Sourced aluminum disks and hardware and assembled the mechanism after having the bracket welded to the plates and machining the holes and critical dimensions of the plates

Remote Controlled Racecar (Spring 2023)

Team Lead

Part Design/Manufacturing:

  • Designed & CADed mounting structure for rear axle, gear train and spacer in SOLIDWORKS

  • Sourced gears, axles, wheels, bolts, and adhesives

Project Management:

  • Managed timelines and set expectations for team, assigned roles to team members

  • Set up meetings and design debriefs with professor

  • Performed regular check-ins with team members
